More From People I've Worked With
Still Have Questions?
Why not just learn this from YouTube?
You absolutely can. I don't keep the methodology secret. The difference is having someone apply it to your specific game, correct your approach when you're going wrong, and help you figure out what you actually need to learn or solve next. You're still the one building the game. The goal is for you to eventually be able to do all of this yourself.
Why not just use AI?
AI can help you solve individual problems, but it doesn't know your entire development journey or take responsibility for the decisions you're making. It can give you an answer while you're solving the wrong problem, working with an unrealistic scope, or making a bad architectural decision. I help you understand what problem you're actually facing, how to approach it, and how to solve it yourself.
Isn't this just another game dev course?
No. You aren't following my project or watching a predefined curriculum. You're building your own game, with the plan, scope, learning, and problem-solving tailored around your skills and your project. The goal isn't to finish a course. It's to finish your game and become capable of building the next one yourself.
What if I don't know enough to start?
That's exactly why we start with a project suited to your current skills. You don't need to learn everything before starting. You learn what you need when you need it, by solving real problems inside your own project. Game development is too broad to master beforehand.
What if my game idea is too ambitious?
We don't have to throw away your idea. We break it down and find a realistic version you can actually build with your current skills. Your original vision can remain the long-term goal. The first version is about proving the core idea, finishing something, and building the skills you'll need to tackle something bigger later.
Do I have to finish the entire mentorship?
No. You pay one milestone at a time, so you never have to commit to the entire program upfront. If you decide the mentorship isn't for you, you can stop.
Will you build the game for me?
No. You build your game. I guide you, challenge your decisions, help you understand what you're missing, and teach you how to solve problems yourself. If I have to build your game for you, you haven't become an independent developer.
What if I've already failed to finish games before?
That's exactly the problem we're trying to solve. The goal isn't to rely on motivation or simply try harder. We start with a realistic project, build it step by step, and teach you how to handle the problems that normally make you quit. By the end, you should have experienced the entire process from planning to publishing, not another unfinished project.
